Review: Hydracentials Water Bottle

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may differ.

I have many addictions: chocolate, gaming, writing, reading, salty snacks, soda... you have heard about almost all of those, but one of my addictions that I don't think you have heard about, is my addiction to water bottles. Right now, as we speak, I can see my counter... My water bottle "collection" is currently drying, after they were washed. I can count at least 8 water bottles right now... and those are just the ones I have used within the past week. I have quite a variety; screw on tops, ones with built in straws, and even one pretty similar to the Hydracentials water bottle that I an currently reviewing for you all. In total, I probably own at least 20 water bottles. Every time I see one at the store that is on sale, I buy it. Even though I know I do not need any more.

Now you understand that when I say I was beyond impressed with this particular water bottle, you understand I know what I am talking about. The Hydracentials water bottle holds 25 oz of water, which is a really good size. my favorite feature of this bottle was the flip top straw, and the metal body. It is really heavy duty! it also has a foam type bottom the prevents slipping on surfaces. This bottle is NOT top heavy like so many are, which means it will not tip over easily. I also love how sleek this particular bottle looks. It's something I am proud to have sitting on my desk.

I made my usual bottle of ice water, and then got busy around the house and completely forgot about drinking it! This tends to happen to me a lot, so regular glasses of water/juice/soda usually go down the drain once they are warm or flat. I took a sip out of my Hydracentials Water bottle, and I was so impressed I actually said out loud, "Wow! This stayed cold!" Even after about 5 hours, I still had little pieces of ice in my bottle, and my water was still cold. This is so insulating, it is my all time FAVORITE Water bottle.

If you are a big water drinker like I am, I urge you to go purchase one of these. They can be found online HERE on Amazon.

I have reviewed quite a few subscription boxes, and this is one of my favorites! Daily Dose os Green Subscription Boxes send you a variety of different products to try. I loved everything I received in mine!

Ecotools Bath Sponge: Loved this! I love these bath poufs. I use one everyday, I just switched out my old one with this new one and I love it!

Ecotools Cosmetic Applicators: I love using these for cream eyeshadows. The best applicators I have ever used, hands down. I use brushes for powder shadows, but always end up using my fingers for cream because I could never find an applicator that worked well. Now I have!

Beauty Without Cruelty Shampoo and Conditioner: This stuff smells amazing!! These are Plant based products for dry and damaged Hair.

Travel Toothbrush: Pretty straight forward. Mine came in a pretty pink case. I will replace my existing one in my purse with this one.

Peelu: This chewing gum is sweetened with Xylitol. This tastes great and freshens my breath!

I also received two pet products!

Pet Naturals of Vermont Smelly Cat: This is supposed to make your cats not so smelly. Im proves fecal quality, cleans the blood, reduces flatulence and freshens breath.

Max and Ruffy's Natural Organic treats for dogs: These are wheat free dogs treats made with Pumpkin. my dogs loved them!

Review: Real Milk Paint

I am upgrading my house, so I was very excited to try out some environmentally friendly paints. I was also able to try some furniture wax.  Real Milk Paint is a powdered paint that you mix with water. It is a very matte finish. I painted my window trim with this… I loved the way it looked.
I think this paint would also be super awesome if you love to re finish old pieces of furniture, or love that shabby chic style, this is definitely the paint for you!

Milk paint is an environmentally friendly paint that is ideal for antique furniture, decks, floors and walls. You can mix milk paint with pigment powders to create just about any color you can imagine. And, the Real Milk Paint Company does not stop there. We also offer milk paint remover, crackle, tung oil, Citrus Solvent (a natural replacement for mineral spirits and paint thinner) and a host of other earth friendly products.

Milk paint, a non toxic paint, was originally made from all organic raw materials, curdled milk, lime, and pigment. Black pigment may have been derived from coal, soot, or charcoal. Red color comes from the earth's crust or a crushed brick. Yellow Ochre harvested from the earth. Our pigments today are harvested in the traditional manner and are completely safe, eco-friendly, non-toxic, lead free and not radioactive. Real Milk Paint® is a non toxic paint finish made from purified milk protein, lime, natural fillers and pigment. Other paint companies choose to use Kaolin Clay as filler. Real Milk Paint® does not contain Kaolin Clay which can be derived from radioactive clays. Our organic paint comes in a water soluble powder and does not contain solvents (Zero V.O.C. = No Volatile Organic Compounds). Our Formula contains almost one third pharmaceutical grade high calcium lime. One of the curing properties of lime is that it goes through a process call carbonization. This means that it absorbs carbon dioxide from the air, thus giving you cleaner indoor air quality when used on interior walls. Using Real Milk Paint, a non toxic paint, will REDUCE CARBON EMISSIONS that contribute to Global Warming. Real Milk Paint can also be used outdoors as well further reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

Left side with Wax

I was also sent some wood wax. These were my favorite products I was sent! I had several pieces of furniture that were “sad” looking. Some of them were stained, and some of them weren’t. This wax was super easy to apply. I just rubbed it on with a soft cloth and let the wax dry for 24 hours. The pieces that I did, look absolutely stunning. This wax brings out the natural beauty of the wood while adding a little bit of color. This wax is made with walnut oil and wax, seals and protects all in one easy step! I was sent two different colors, chesnut and Warm Black.

I loved these products!
