Review and Giveaway: Red Rose & Salada Tea

If you have read my blog for any length of time, you will know that I love reviewing Tea, because I love Tea! My perfect idea of pure relaxation is curling up in a window seat during a rainy afternoon, with a book and a mug of tea. I don’t have the pleasure of actually owning a Bay Window with a window seat, so I make due with my couch or bed, but the constants in my vision of pure bliss are always a book, and a mug of tea.

I was so excited when I received my package of Red Rose and Salada tea. I have been fighting a cold/Sinus Infection that just won’t go away. I can finally breathe out of my nose after two weeks of being stuffed up. The other night, when I just couldn’t relax, and my coughing was out of control, I thought to myself, “Hmm, I should make myself a nice hot glass of tea.” So I got out of bed, and did just that. I made the Red Rose English Breakfast Tea (Which was also my favorite out of the ones I received), I was able to drink about half a glass before my body started to relax and the warm tea had settled my cough down. Within minutes, I was asleep.

I was also sent three other bagged flavors, and two keurig flavors (But I don’t have a Keurig!). The two other Keurig flavors I had my mother take to her office at work, where there is Keurig. She said everyone LOVED the flavors! The Cinnamon Roll flavor was a huge hit!

The next flavor I tried was the Red Rose Lemon Chiffon. Let me tell you, I could drink this stuff by the gallon! So light and fresh. You are able to taste the tea, and taste the lemon-ness of it. The lemon-y flavor is hard to explain in this one; think more lemon meringue and less Fresh Lemon Fruit. Totally delicious, and also decaffeinated.

The Salada Purple Antioxidant Green Tea, is also good. Though this one was not my favorite, I could see why people who love blueberries would love this tea. It tastes JUST like fresh blueberries! This is a naturally decaffeinated tea, with added antioxidants.  I had my husband try this flavor, and he fell in love. He came in the house and asked if I had made Blueberry Muffins!

The last flavor I tried was the Salada Green Tea in Tropical Mango. I love citrusy fruit, smells and tastes. All of the citrus fruit, except grapefruit! Before I took a sip I smelled the tea, can I just say “YUM!” Oh, this stuff smells amazing. Not only can you smell the mangos, you can taste the mangos. I know a lot of people don’t like mango, because of the not so tasty Pine after taste.  This tea has none of that. All you taste is the Green Tea and the beautiful mangos.

I only have good things to say about Red Rose Tea and Salada Tea.
I would give these products a 10/10! Perfect Score!
