Review: Paleo Meenut Butter

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may differ.

A lot of you know that I love eating and reviewing nut butters. Growing up, the only kind of "nut butter" I ever had was Peanut Butter. However, since starting my blog, and looking for healthier products, I have experienced a lot of different kinds and flavors of nut butters.

I was able to review Paleo Meenut Butter, and was pleasantly surprised by the flavor. This is thicker and more coarsely ground than the other butters I have tried in the past. The best part about this is that it is handmade. You can tell by the flavor and packaging just how much care went into making this product. I loved it on my wholegrain Rice Thins.

The ingredients in this ROCKED!

  • California Almonds
  • Organic Coconut
  • California Organic Walnuts
  • Pecans
  • Organic Macadamia Nuts
  • Organic Golden Flax Seeds
  • Organic Sunflower Seeds
  • Sonoma Sea Salt
You can also add Honey or maple to this to make it sweeter, but I liked it just how it was. I could never go back to regular peanut butter after trying and experiencing the flavors of other nut butters. This is the closest thing to a more "chunky" butter that I have tried, since it is coarsely ground. I loved it.

Review: Pink Zebra Sprinkles

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may differ.

A lot of you know by now that I love candles, and candle accessories. I recently had the opportunity to review Pink Zebra Sprinkles. If you are anything like me, you had probably never heard of them before! They are little "sprinkles" of wax! You can put them in your wax warmer instead of the giant cubes.

The best part about these is that you can mix scents!

I was sent two different scents to try: Watermelon and Orange Blossom. They both smelled divine, but my personal favorite was the watermelon... even the envelope the samples arrived in smelled amazing. I took them out of the package, and within minutes my entire bedroom smelled like watermelon and Orange Blossoms. I hadn't even put these in the warmer yet!

I realized something after reading a little bit more about the product. You don't even have to stick them in the warmer... if you want your clothes to smell good, sprinkle a few in your dresser drawers. You can also easily make your own candles with just a wick, and the Pink Zebra Sprinkles.

If you love your home, your car, or your clothes to smell amazing, check these out!

Review: Barney Butter

Barney Butter

Since starting my blog, I have learned that regular peanut butter is a thing of the past. While reviewing Barney Butter, this product just cemented that opinion even more.

Barney Butter is an Almond Butter that is all natural, Peanut Free and Gluten Free. Barnet Butter only has four ingredients! It also has 50% less saturated fat that your typical peanut butter. Not to mention its totally delicious!

Barney Butter is an all natural almond butter made with Premium California Almonds. It is craveably delicious, with a texture just like peanut butter. Made in an almond only facility, it is peanut free, ideal for those with peanut allergies. Barney Butter is naturally no-stir and does not need to be refrigerated. Gluten free, no trans fats or hydrogenated oils, and half the saturated fat of peanut butter make Barney Butter a healthy and delicious treat!

One serving of Barney Butter is equal to about a handful of Almonds, and you can definitely tell! Almonds are one of my favorite nuts in the world. Which makes Barney butter equally as appetizing. It is so creamy and fresh!

I love this product! Perfect for people with peanut allergies, or even without them!

Review: Barbara's Cookie Pies

I had the pleasure to review one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten in my lifetime: Barbara's Cookie Pies! I got to try the Peanut Butter Cup Pie, and Oh Man- It was divine.

The peanut butter was so creamy, and the crust was amazing... Everyone in my house loved it! It was gone in a day! Though I wanted to hoard this to myself, I shared with everyone.

Barbara's uses quality ingredients in her pies and you can tell. Check out these ingredients!
Ingredients:

Cookie Pie Crust:

Fresh creamery butter, sugar, unbleached flour, real vanilla, whole eggs

Topping:

Whipped peanut butter, confectioner’s sugar, real vanilla , real semi-sweet chocolate
I don't know if you have read the labels on the desserts at the grocery store, but I can almost guarantee you, that you would find some sort of chemical or preservative in there. I love that I know what all the ingredients are, and though this is not considered "healthy", it is , in my opinion, better than loading your body up with chemicals.

Each pie/cookie is handmade. The crust, instead of a traditional Pie crust, is a butter cookie crust! You can eat this with a fork, but I would recommend just picking it up and eating it with your hands. Barbara's makes all sorts of wonderful goodies!

Barbara's Hand-Made Cookie Pies are the evolution of the cookie into something bigger and better... a decadent fusion of traditional cookie & candy classics with a modern artisan touch. They look like a pie, but eat like a cookie!
It all starts with an authentic butter cookie dough made from a 3 generation family recipe. This buttery cookie dough (a treat by itself) forms the bottom layer of each Cookie Pie; then each is filled with popular cookie & candy toppings. It’s a cookie-in–a-cookie!

Each Cookie Pie is hand-made from scratch in small batches, hand-pressed and hand-decorated. Barbara’s Cookie Pies only use high-quality ingredients to ensure love is baked into every bite. Great for gifts, parties, desserts, holidays, snacks & catering. Barbara’s Cookie Pies and Butter Cookies are delivered fresh to your door locally and nationwide.
These would make a great gift! I know I would love to receive one of these! Super Yummy!
I would give these a 10/10!!

Review: Shelton's Poultry

I was given the chance to try some of Shelton's Poultry Products. I was very impressed my what they sent me: Turkey Jerky, Turkey Snack Sticks, Turkey Chili, and canned chicken.

I tried the turkey jerky first, and let me tell you! This is Turkey Jerky done how it's supposed to be! It was so rich in flavors, I couldn't believe it. The Hot&Spicy Turkey Jerky also had very good flavor, but wasn't my favorite because it was spicy. We've been over this before... I'm a whimp.

The Jerky snack sticks come in three different flavors: Original, Pepperoni and Jalapeno. Weirdly enough, the jalapeno was my favorite flavor! It wasn't spicy enough for me to not like it, and the chunks of Jalapeno gave it great flavor. The Original is tougher than the Pepperoni, but Still just as great.

I was given two kinds of their chili to try, and both were excellent. Some of the best store bought chili I have ever had. Almost as good as homemade. The Mild flavor was my personal Favorite.

I really loved everything from Shelton's. The history behind the company is also a nice brief read. Check it out HERE.

I would recommend Shelton's to anyone who is looking for quality poultry products. Everything they make tastes great!

Review: Chike PB Peanut Butter Powder

Everyone loves Peanut Butter! Everyone will especially love Chike Powdered Peanut Butter! This is such a great product.
Chike PB is the peanut butter you've been waiting for with all natural ingredients and no added oils or fats. This creamy, dreamy peanut butter has less fat and calories and is a healthier and more versatile option than traditional peanut butter. Isn't it great to know that your go-to comfort food can be enjoyed with a little less guilt?
Simply use in your PB&J sandwiches, or use it in your favorite recipes, desserts or Chike shakes.
I have been triyng to stick to a low calorie diet, but I'm always craving foods that are so high in Calories! Sweet and salty stuff mostly. Well this peanut butter only has 45 calories per 2 TABLESPOONS. That's Amazing!
You can mix this into regular spreadable peanut butter, or add it to shakes, ice cream, yogurt, just about anything you could imagine!

I tried this as a fruit dip. I mixed 2 Tablespoons of Chike PB into 3 Tablespoons of low fat Vanilla yogurt. It makes a very thick and delicious fruit dip that you can dip anything into. I dipped my apple slices into it. My mom and I both agreed it was the best fruit dip we have ever had.
Chike Peanut Butter has 6g Protein, 1g Sugar, and only 1.5g of fat per serving! That's 85% less fat calories than regular peanut butter!
I really love this stuff!

10/10!! Perfect Score!!

Review & Giveaway: Bella Sun Luci Sun dried Tomatos!

Today, I made the best pasta I have ever made in my life, and I can thank Bella Sun Luci Sun-Dried Tomatoes for that. Pasta to me was always a "Meh" meal. No sauces turned out how I wanted them to... until now. I absolutely fell in love with these tomatoes. I used a jar of their tomatoes with Whole Pine nuts (Pesto), added burger, olive oil and Parmesan and Romano cheese. This was to die for. The sauce turned out nice and thick, just the way I like it.

If you love using herbs in your food, this is the product for you! The flavors in these are amazing, and they have many different varieties. They come in jars with Olive oil, and in bags. I love love love the ones that come in jars. Perfect for pasta sauces, especially is you like pasta sauces that are thicker. I used the Italian Basil bagged ones as a garnish for my pasta. Yum!
I love how fresh these made my meal taste. Like I had made homemade sauce!
I would rate this a 10/10. Perfect Score!

Review And Giveaway: Newman's Own Organics

When my Newman's Own Organics box was shipped to my house, and I opened it... I'm surprised my mouth didn't hit the floor. They had sent me tons of goodies to review and try, all organic. I was EXTREMELY impressed my the selection of products they offered, and since they had sent me so many delicious things, this review was a bit delayed so I could sample each thing.
These Chocolates were to die for. My favorite was the milk Chocolate, as dark Chocolate is not my favorite thing in the world. The Super Dark chocolate I let someone else try, because I found it was too strong for my personal tastes. They said they like it and it was not bitter at all. I also really like the Espresso Dark Chocolate. All of them received great compliments from my family.

All of these dried Fruits were amazing. They were very moist and Flavor Packed. The berry blend was my favorite! It has Cranberries, Raisins, Blueberries and Cherries in it. Yum!

These Peanut Butter, Raspberry and Peppermint cups were also another favorite. They are not like Reeses, don't expect them to be, but they are great none the less. The Peppermint Ones were my personal Favorite. They were so good! The amount of filling and chocolate was perfectly balanced.

I have to say, I thought I wasn't going to like these. I see the word Licorice and I shy away, but I tried these, and I'm not afraid of licorice anymore. My favorite was the Mango. My mom's favorite was the Black Licorice. The flavors of these are great. The "sour" flavors aren't terribly sour, but it brings out the favlors even more.

Oh boy. These Cookies. I cannot say enough about these Cookies. Ginger-O's... I had to stop my husband from eating the entire Package. He loved them. I loved them. Huge hit. The Peppermint creme Cookies. So delicious. Those were my favorite out of the sandwich cookies. Fig Newman's... Absolutely delicious. They were so moist and flavorful, And the Hermit's... I have never tasted anything like them. Imagine a really soft gingerbread cookie, but them add in raisins and then they were rolled in cinnamon sugar. They were absolutely great.

These Bagged cookies were one of my favorites in the whole box. My personal favorite were the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip. These cookies are perfect for dipping in milk. Or setting out to have coffee with friends.

The Pretzels was a snack I wasn't expecting from Newman's Own Organics. Never the less, they were great. Full of flavor, and they didn't dry out my mouth like most pretzels do.

These mints were also some of my favorite things that came in my goody box. They pack a ton of flavor and the boxes fit perfectly in my purse.

Newman's Own Organics have outdone themselves. I liked everything I received! Everything was completely organic, and I was confident in the ingredients that they used. I have ever been more pleased with a food company than I was with Newman's Own Organics. I urge you to try their products and I guarantee that you will love them!
