Review: Ozeri 3x Tower Fan

I was ecstatic when I was given the chance to review the Ozeri 3x Tower fan. We use fans all summer long, as well as our air conditioning because our house sits in direct sunlight with no shade in the summertime. Though I was able to review this fan towards the end of summer, I still use it almost daily.

My favorite feature of this fan is that you can control each fan individually. There are many different speed settings and different modes. It also has a timer, and it can oscillate. This fan is so extremely quiet, sometimes I forget I even have it on.

Recently I started making candles and usually I turn this on in the room I am making them in, because it tends to get hot in there. Also with the fan providing such a "smooth" breeze, if the air hits the top of the candle it does not ripple the wax while it is drying.

Another thing I have to talk about is how this fan looks. You all know that I am a fan of Ozeri products because they are so great looking. I would definitely buy anything from this brand because of the work the company does to make sure the products are attractive to your eye. Ozeri products are something I am glad to display in my home. They all look very modern. It even comes with a Remote. Some assembly is required, though it took me less than 5 minutes to put together.

Once again Ozeri hit it out of the ballpark.

What is the number one reason you go out and buy a new pair of shoes? It's probably not that they are worn out, it's probably because you are sick of wearing the exact same pair of shoes. If you are anything like I am, I was worried that it would be extremely hard to unzip and re-zip on the tops of the shoes. I was pleasantly surprised that it was, in fact, fairly easy. The zippers are really sturdy. 

I loved the way these shoes looked! They are so stylish, and Zipz offers so many different Designs and Styles!

Just Because of Summer

I realized a few days ago that I have been extremely slacking in the Make-up part of my blog. I thought about last it last night, and i decided that today I wanted to attempt to get a makeup look up. I did a "summer themed" look today that I thought I would share with you. I used a palette that I don't use very often, and thought "hey, why not, let's try some Orange today." This is what I came up with.

What does everyone think? I used all pearl finishes. I think it is a very "Summery" color scheme. Maybe next time I will try it with Bright greens or blues :)

I love when my Stunner of the Month box comes in the mail every month. I am always so excited to see what is in it. Last month's glasses were great, but this month really blew it out of the water, for me anyway. These glasses that I received would be something I would pick up in the store, but I got them sent to me from Stunner of the Month instead!

Review: Okabashi

These are literally THE BEST Flip Flops I have ever worn in my life. And I have worn a lot of Flip Flops. You can even wash these in the dishwasher if they get dirty! That's amazing. Everyone needs to own a pair of these shoes. So comfortable, and durable!

Review: Famous Daves

It's Summer! And, being that it is summer, I want a tan! Except, I have a problem... I don't tan, I burn. Badly. Several years ago I was sunburned so badly that it left scars, and ever since then, I have been wary of going out in the sun without sunscreen. And when I am able to get somewhat of a tan on the tops of my shoulders, you can see the scars. Because of that, self tanners are a part of my summer routine. I was super excited to try out Famous Dave's Tanner.


I am also somewhat afraid of "cream/lotion" tanners... because I can never apply them correctly, but Famous Dave's tanner came with a Mit to apply the cream with.... Oh boy, I wish I would of had one of those years ago... and I wouldn't have walked around looking like an oompa loompa. using the mit, I was able to apply the product easily, and it actually turned out beautifully! I did not end up with streakiness or globs of uneven color.

Famous Dave's even sent an instructional card telling me how many pumps of the product to apply where. The color turned out beautifully! I really looks like I spent hours in the sun tanning, when in reality it only took me about ten minutes to apply from the comfort of my living room. I usually only apple self tanner's to my arms and chest, but I was confident enough to try this on my legs! I have never been happier with the way a tanner turned out!

I also noticed that when applying this tanner, it didn't have the sickly sweet "banana" smell that most other tanners have. Which is a super plus for me, because I absolutely hate that smell!

Famous Dave's tanner even has Argon Oil in it!

This is a wonderful tanner! 10/10!

Review: SkinAgain "Relief"

Guess what folks, it's summer, and I know (at least where I live) the mosquitos are out in force... I also know, that I seem to be the mosquitos favorite snack. Which really is awful, because I am a lot more sensitive to insect bites than your average person. Instead of getting a "dime sized" mosquito bite, when I get bit, the swell up much more than normal... they end up being about the size of 50 cent pieces. And I can't ever stop scratching them.

When I was given the opportunity to try SkinAgain's "Relief", I was so excited I could hardly contain myself. Relief is for itchy, red and inflamed skin, Rashes and Insect bites! Oh, and let me tell you, this is my new best friend. Right now, this is my miracle product. I had an insect bite on my foot, and being that that particular area is really hard to scratch, because no matter how much I scratch, it just doesn't go away... I was losing my mind. So I thought, "Oh! I'll try Relief on it!" If only I had thought of that sooner. almost immediately the scratchy burn was gone, plus it left my foot completely soft and smooth.

Relief is All natural, paraben free, fragrance free, cruelty free, and allergy tested. I think this would be a perfect product for people who suffer from eczema, or other skin irritations.

Wonderful product!! 10/10!

Review: Fake Bake

If you read my blog on a regular basis, you know that I am a very pasty person, and that I can't get a tan to save my life. So if I want nice Bronze skin, I have to use self tanners. I have tried several different varieties and all the tanners that last for days end up streaking or turning my skin an orangey unnatural color.

I was very happy with how Fake Bake turned out! Fake Bake is a mousse tanner, it spreads evenly, and doesn't streak. It is very easy to apply. It even came with gloves, so that when you apply it, it stain your palms.

The color was not orange, it was a very natural brown. It also works instantly! Which is another plus, because I don't know how many times I have put on self tanner thinking I had covered every spot, only to find out hours later when the color finally comes in, that I had missed huge patches! Then I have to reapply... which only makes it worse because then the color is not even. I had absolutely non of these problems with Fake Bake!

I would give this product a 10\10!

Review: Designer Skin "One Night Stand"

I am probably the pastiest person you would ever meet. I also have the worst luck when I try to tan. I just burn! This product was an amazing way to get that summer glow I am so envious of. This is hands down the best “self tanner” I have tried. The best part about it, is it is temporary! After one night, it washes off with soap and water! If you have a hot date you want nice tan legs for, this is the product for you.

I have had some horrible experiences with self-tanners before… they make my skin Orange. Or they end up being WAY too dark, and you can tell it is so unnatural. I did not have any of those problems with this product. It blended so naturally into my skin, I could hardly believe it.

Everyone knows that sun exposure damages your skin, after years of tanning, people look like; let’s face it, leather. Sun exposure increases wrinkles. I feel very confident knowing that I can look great, and not damage my skin.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking for that healthy glow!

I was so ecstatic when this package came in the mail. It is just getting into Summer, and I had NO sunglasses! This is the perfect Subscription service for any fashion forward people, or even anyone who just has the love of eyewear!
