Every month I sponsor an animal charity on my Facebook page. 15-100% of sales from my Etsy shop go to the charity of the month. This month, I have chosen to sponsor Allies for Greyhounds, Inc. This organization takes greyhounds that were bred for racing and gives them a second chance at a normal life - as pets.

Not only will I be donating a portion of all my sales this month, but I will also be sponsoring a multi vendor giveaway in honor of Allies for Greyhounds, Inc. I have to say, out of all of the subscription boxes I have received in the past few weeks, this one has been my favorite. This month's theme was RIO! I could not be more excited about the colors I received! I will let the pictures do the talking for me!

As you can see, the colors that I received were great! They are true to color in the bottle, they apply smoothly and they do not chip easily!

Pet Week: The Whisker's Syndicate Introduction

I have a message for all of your from straight from The Whisker's Syndicate! Raeosunshine Pet's is featuring them as her May rescue, in hopes to raise money to help animals who can't help themselves.

The Whiskers' Syndicate is the first, and the only animal sanctuary in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. As a breeder capital of the nation, Bandung is overflowing with unwanted animals of all breeds, and the stray management is often, if not always, too gruesome to be true. Sadly, the self appointed "big nation" has no animal welfare law, and conservation efforts are tainted by fearless corruption. Devoid of any protection, animals in Indonesia are victimized by poachers, illegal trade, excessive milling (breeding), and treatment unfit for “someone”. Be they household animals, farm animals, or those in the wild, they are treated as “things”. You will see some breeder get their kitty mill cat inside their motorcycle baggage cabin (that tiny, airless space under the saddle right at the side of gas tank) or tie their dog on an open truck bed and drive them miles away to the vet to find out when they can be mated again, rejecting the vets offer to treat some visible sickness on their dog. When they serve their purpose, they are either sold to flea market in cheap price, or just thrown away to the street, or onto the highway to meet their end. In the wake of such disaster, I am compelled to give my best effort in becoming the suffering animals' best friend, the way they have been man's best friends. Pet Week: Meet Raeosunshine Pets!

If you are reading this post, you probably have a fur baby. This week I will be drawing attention to websites, and products to pamper your pets. 

The first Person I would like to mention is Rachel. Rachel runs a business called Raeosunshine Pets. She creates custom needle felted miniatures, and custom watercolor pet portraits, as well as many other cute things for human's as well! She is a true animal lover at heart, and takes great time and care in each item she creates.

Review and Giveaway: Big Slice

 I cannot even begin to describe to you the great flavors that I have tried when I was trying out Big Slice! 
Big Slice is pouches of kettle cooked apples, they are almost a mixture of apple pie filling and applesauce, except the flavor spins on them are amazing! They come in three collections, with 16 different flavors; The Pure collection: Chai, Blueberry pomegranate, Cherry Vanilla, Lemon Berry, Orange Ginger, Apricot, and Natural. The Fit Collection: Pineapple Passion Fruit and Fiber, Raspberry Hibiscus and Green Coffee Extract, Peach green tea and Aloe, & Banana Mango and Hemp Seed! The Luxe Collection: Boysenberry Chocolate, Cinnamon Candy, Caramel, Peach Bellini and Cinnamon French Toast.

Now you understand why these are your "normal" applesauce type snack. 
They come in cute little pouches that are great for on the go, or in a sack lunch. All you need is a fork or spoon! 
I was able to try 8 different flavors, and out of the ones that I received, The Pineapple Passion fruit and the Cinnamon French toast were my absolute favorite! The flavors only enhance the apples, they do not cover up the apple taste. I love these!

Best of all, They contain no GMO's are made only with USA Apples, they contain no High Fructose Corn Syrup, are a great source of Vitamin C, are naturally Gluten and Fat Free, and are Vegan! What a great snack! 
Kids would also enjoy these, and I guarantee you, they wont be trading them away to their friends. If you want to start eating better, start with Big Slice!

Product Review: Nick's Sticks

When I saw my package of Nick's Sticks come in the mail, I might have actually flew to the mailbox. Okay, that may be an understatement, but I was really excited. I opened the package right away, and my husband and I tried them. They were awesome! Jerky/Jerky sticks are some of my favorite snacks in the whole world. Both me and my husband both liked the spicy ones the best. I preferred the Spicy turkey and he preferred the spicy beef. I am a super whimp when it comes to spicy things, but these had just the right amount of heat, and I love that you get that heat purely from jalapenos! I read over the ingredients and was astonished. Most jerky snacks have so many ingredients, and most of them you can't even pronounce, but Nick's Sticks really are "All of the goodness, and None of the Garbage".

No MSG
No Antibiotics
No Hormones
Gluten Free

I also would like to add, that I really appreciate the way Wallace farms treats the animals that will eventually become food. I grew up on a farm, and learned at a very young age where the meat we eat comes from. Our animals were never neglected, and had plenty of room to play, and graze, and I would like to think they lived a very happy life.
