Review: Fiona's Natural Foods

I was sent a variety of products from Fiona's Natural Foods. My favorite products were the trail mixes: jungle blend and Mountain Blend. The jungle Blends was my favorite out of the two. It is gluten free, soy free, salt free and Dairy Free. It contains raw Spanish peanuts, sunflower seeds, almonds, cranberries, dried pineapple, raw pumpkin seeds and dried papaya. The flavors go very well together and I love each and every one of the ingredients by themselves also!

I also received four different flavors of Granola: Gluten Free Sunflower Coconut, Cinnamon Almond, Ginger Walnut, and Toasted Almond. my favorite was the cinnamon Almond. It is Wheat Free, Dairy Free, Salt free and Soy Free. It is also made with organic Grains and Agave nectar. This was super delicious in Vanilla yogurt! it has rolled oats, barley, agave nectar, sesame seeds, canola Oil, almonds and Cinnamon in it! Yum!

Our mission is to offer consumers an organic, gourmet product that is superior in taste, texture, quality, freshness, and nutritional value; we are committed to baking the most delicious, nutritious granola available anywhere.

Review and Giveaway: Namaste Foods

I was so excited when I received my package form Namaste Foods. I have been trying to watch what I am eating, and I have noticed that since I have cut out a lot of artificial ingredients in my diet, I have felt so much better! I was sent two different products to try: Homestyle Seasoned Coating Mix and Pizza crust Mix. My favorite was the Seasoned coating mix, but the pizza crust was also delicious!

To be completely honest, I wasn't sure what to expect when I breaded my chicken strips with this. I was very hesitant that it wasn't going to be good, and I was nervous no one would like it because i was making a big family dinner. I spent all that time worrying for nothing.

When the first strip came out of the pan, I let it cool and took a bite (Quality Control), and I couldn't believe my taste buds. This was the most perfectly seasoned and delicious beading I have ever tried.
I make chicken strips a lot. Usually my breading either consists of bread crumbs or flour and seasonings. Even my homemade breading has absolutely nothing on this. For the first time in a long time, something from a box was better than something that I could make. I was also completely surprised when I found out what it was made of! The base of this mix is flax and whole grain flours! So much better for you than bread crumbs or regular flour.

I cut up about 8 chicken breasts into strips and used both packets of the mix, as I said, big family meal. Generally, when we cook a huge meal like that there are a lot of left overs, well there were certainly left overs from all of the other things we had, but all of the chicken was GONE. Everyone loved it! Even my picky grandpa. He couldn't believe it when I told him what it was made out of, or rather what it wasn't made of. Namaste foods and all of their facilities contain absolutely NO: Gluten, wheat, dairy, soy, corn, potato, tree nuts, peanuts or Casein. This company and it's products are perfect for people with food allergies.

This was such a huge hit in my house, we will be buying some!

Namaste Foods has also offered my readers a giveaway! They are offering a tote bag full of goodies to one lucky winner!
