Camping Trip!

Well, My mini Vacation has came and went. It was a great time. We camped in a town called Empire, about 5 minutes away from the area we used to vacation at when I was younger. We "roughed" it. No Electric, no flushing toilets. It was real camping. My only issue was that I am fairly certain our spot was smack dab in the middle of Daddy Long Leg breeding grounds. They were literally everywhere... Crawling on everything!
We camped in tents, cooked our food over fire. It was a lot of work, but it was completely worth it in the end!

After we camped in Empire for 2 nights, we went up across the Mackinaw Bridge to Tehquamenon Falls. They were gorgeous. We hung out there all day, and then decided that after our spidery two nights, that we would just head home for the night. 4 Hours later, we pulled into our driveway. We didn't even unpack our car. We came in and went straight to bed. I will have pictures of Tehquamenon Falls later, but for now, here are a few of our camping party in Empire.

Review: Shandali Ultrasport Travel Towel

Disclaimer: I received these items in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to post a positive review. These are my honest opinions. Your experience may differ.

When I first opened this towel, I wasn't all that sure what to expect. I had heard some wonderful things about microfiber towels, but the ones that I have tried, were lackluster. The water just rolled right off from them, and nothing was absorbed.

At first impression, the texture of this towel was completely different than the other microfiber towels I have tried in the past. That peaked my interest a little more. It was soft, and almost felt like velvet or suede. It was definitely very soft. The second thing I noticed about this towel was the size! For being a "travel towel" I was expecting this to be much smaller, but was actually quite a good size.

Many of you have heard me talking about my upcoming camping trip- It is happening very soon! This Shandali Travel Towel will definitely be included in my bag. This is the perfect size to put on my car seat so they don't get too wet or sandy from the beach. This is also the most perfect size for drying my hair after swimming in the lake all day.

I of course, had to test the absorbency of this towel. I "spilled" some water, and then wiped the mess up with this towel, and it worked wonders. The liquid soaked right in, and it definitely does dry quickly. This towel is perfect for everybody. People who play sports, or swim, or camp, or even your little ones (you know how quickly they can get wet around water, even if it is just a sprinkler). This would be a perfect gift for the active person in your life!
